The Power of Play

The Power of Play has been helping people improve their health and well-being since we began our work in 1983. Our program has helped people with a wide range of health challenges. We focus participants on experiencing the healing benefits of their own creativity, humor and authentic voice. Our interactive games are fun, easy to play and reveal valuable lessons that can be immediately applied to everyday situations. When people with cancer or other chronic illnesses experience the “art of a playful attitude,” natural feel-good hormones are released in the body, which enhance the immune system and support whatever medical approach or protocol is being utilized. This helps the healing process and strengthens the spirit with hope, can lessen pain and improve an overall sense of well-being. Our approach is natural, easily learned, fun and completely portable. After all, you are always there wherever you go! We have successfully applied our approach to many health conditions and will be developing sites that address those issues.
